bit Posted December 28, 2011 Video is below, and I thought you might like a look at the setup (see attached pic) In the pic you will see my laptop, running windows 8 (not that it really matters), tethered to the camera via USB. Camera is a canon eos 5dii, and the capture software is the canon eos utility. Laptop is running off mains power via extension lead to house, cam is running on battery, I'll have to keep an eye on the battery level, have.a spare charged up just in case. The cam was set to Av mode to let it automatically deal with the fading evening light, Shutter is actuating every 20 seconds. Shutter speed varied as the light dropped off, maxing at about 14 seconds.

bit Posted December 30, 2011 Thanks for all the awesome feedback guys. It really encourages me I intend to do some more in the next few days, but it's dependent on the weather and flower opening schedules You might also like to check out my previous one, done a few years ago now: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v441/evobit/Plants/?action=view¤t=ScopFlower.mp4

Marcel Posted January 1, 2012 That's ace. I'd be nervous about leaving all my gear out there exposed to the elements all day.
