alkatrope Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) Greetings Fine Supporters of EGA, The infamous EGA 2011 raffle is now live and ready for you to show your support (and hopefully win some amazing prizes at the same time!). The total prize-pool value will be $5000 – split into ten winnable prizes. The values are as follows: 1st prize value - $1400; 2nd, 3rd & 4th prize value - $1000 each, prizes 5-10 value - $100 each. The raffle tickets are being sold at the following prices: 1 for $10; 3 for $20; 8 for $50; 20 for $100. There will also be a bonus internet-raffle; any raffle tickets purchased online will automatically put your name into the draw to win a bonus prize of priceless value! So show your support before the event for maximum opportunity. The first round of prizes can be seen below. We are of course still looking for additions to the prize pool, so if you have anything you’re able to donate to this great cause please don’t hesitate to contact us. For the latest information don’t forget to check the EGA website where any updates will be published! Draw Date: The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 4th December on the last night of the conference - always a fun event! Prizes will be available for collection after the draw, or otherwise mailed to those who couldn’t make it to the event. Please note we cannot mail prizes internationally. EGA is a not-for-profit organization which exists for the benefit of others, usually at personal expense to those behind it. The funds raised by the raffle really help relieve this and make the event more sustainable as a whole, directly going toward keeping the event’s entry-price down and supporting other projects like publishing the EGA Journal, editing content for the EGA DVD, and maintaining our website. These are just a few ways in which your support will be employed. You might be interstate and/or unable to attend, but you don’t have to miss out on supporting the EGA cause - a prize donation or buying some raffle tickets is a great way to show your support. Please note that we cannot mail prizes internationally. Raffle tickets can now be purchased from our website: http://www.entheo.net/ega_raffle_tickets - NOTE: ONLINE RAFFLE SALES NOW CLOSED For more general information on the EGA Raffle, and to find out how to donate, please follow this link: http://www.entheo.net/fundraising_raffle Please spread word of the raffle to as many potentially-interested parties as possible; with so many good prizes and such a good cause we really need as much awareness and support as we can get. Good luck in the draw! solomon Posted October 28, 2011 How do i buy tickets ? I want in Is the draw being held at EGA ? EGA website under "Store" or "Shop" Somefing like that. Just a wee question, is this loot up for grabs for us over seas cats? In the event that an O/S member won, they could cover postage and the stuff they couldn't import (plants, extracts etc) could be auctioned off or put in another raffle for EGA fundraising.
alkatrope Posted October 28, 2011 ^ Officially we're unable to offer to post prizes overseas. That said, if an OS person did happen to buy a winning ticket, and requested something such as the above, then I think we'd be able to work something out ;) Otherwise OS winners will in replacement receive something special of comparable value, but we have not finalized the specifics of this yet. How do i buy tickets ? I want in Is the draw being held at EGA ? Yep the draw will be on the Sunday arvo/evening of the conference! indigo264nm Posted October 29, 2011 Going to try and get a couple of signed copies of Sam Cutler's book donated into the raffle pool. Fucking great read. There is a chapter in it that mentions what Bear was claiming 2 years ago in one of his talks about DMT smoking in a room fucking with the amps and music equipment.
