tripsis Posted February 28, 2011 I initially brought up the topic of being able to edit thread titles, which isn't possible at present. Then Torsten brought up the topic of having a time limit set on being able to edit posts/threads at all.
Amazonian Posted March 1, 2011 I have read back over this thread and am no longer confused . I was thinking about not being able to edit a post after a week or whatever. I remember I edited my first post on this forum so as not to incriminate myself . I did this two months after that post. Besides that , its usually immediate editing when reading over the post that you have just made. It is nice to know you have the option though, to edit. What if you had started a thread about ...lets say... an Arabica coffee bean tree and you stated that a safe amount of roasted beans to consume at one time was 1000. Down the track you have found out that this is not a safe dose. You would want to come back to that particular post and add a warning or alter the said dose.. Just an example. ThunderIdeal Posted March 2, 2011 plenty of examples of why it's handy to be able to edit posts indefinitely.
