Amazonian Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) My dogs are so placid, like scared of other dogs. If the jack russell is on a lead, and so is the approaching dog, he is all tough and growly and hackles up, but if he is off lead and so is the oncoming dog, he just freezes, lol. My Border Collie is wary of other dogs and sticks right by my leg if another dog approaches. She was nipped a few times as a pup by two shitzu kinda dogs, so that has made her cautious . Its sad really, cause other dogs come up to play when i am at the park, and my dogs don't reciprocate. But i'd rather that than an aggressive dog. I hate dog fights. Earth Mother Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) My 2 yr old Staffie cross ( cross with what is anyone's guess!). I got her from the RSPCA when she was 6 months old. Poor thing had the mange and weighed just 6 kilo's. She was literally skin over bones. Unfortunately they had already named her..not the most appropriate name for the kind of dog she is ( a real naughty bugger!!)- Don't laugh, but she's called... Louise! Amazonian Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) This is a pic' of Buddy at one of our local walks. There is a swap/pond there, and the dogs go for a bit of a paddle. They always find something smelly to roll in like a dead rat or duck crap, lol. And here is Takoda smiling. Edited November 29, 2013 by Amazonian
