what rhymes with caapi?

Pretty much as the title says, I have no idea how to pronounce 'caapi'.

Capey?

Cap-eye?

etc.

Ive hear some say it..

car pee

or

cap ee

there really isn't to much variation on the pronunciation I don't think.

This only works in dutch but it really rhymes with caapi (yes, really):

aapie (means little monkey)

slaapie (a person to share your bunk with, normally in a non-sexual way. A military thing I believe)

The double aa is pronounced either as a long drawn out 'a' or as a double a, but never as a short a as suggest by teotz. ie, it has to rhyme with harpie, but not with sappie.

The -pi is pronounced as -pee
