paradox Posted December 25, 2008 oh well why not? i'd just like to mention that this has a definite rhythm to it which is hard to convey in text & it's usaually done with an accompanying guitar melody.... An endless succession of souls in the human freakshow, a dance through ego in a sea of selves, staring eyes & fragile shells, it is said that our pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses our understanding. Days, grey clouds & rain, human pain, joy & love & an endless spectrum of things believed, things mis-percieved, thwarted needs & moments of divine inspiration. What to do but observe our condition, beautiful in it's multi-dimentional layers of humaness, tragic insomuch as the human drama.. is a tragic saga, an epic black comedy playing on the comercial channel of our conditioned minds. But ever does the true light shine ever will it shine, behind the black slime of our mis-perceptions. Ever has it shone & ever so it will & certainly it will, forever or until we decide to not divide within our minds that which is eternal.

I think I'm up to about 3 post's but I'm more a voyer, just like reading what everyone else had to say but your offer of free cactus is just too good to refuse. This is more a song than a poem and it has little to do with much on this site other than an anti war sentiment. Hope that is ok with you? VERSE 1 G He stood his ground, through thick or thin, C G He gave his all, when they couldn’t win, C G So many lives gone, down the drain, D7 C G To many lives, gone up in flames, VERSE 2 G Now I’m not sayin, I won’t go to war, C G But just make sure, what I’m fighting for, C G Is for peace, across the land, D7 C G A common love, for our fellow man, CHORUS G So all you toys, in government, C G Prime ministers, and Presidents, C G Chiefs of staff, and bully boys, D7 You call the tune, C G But hear our voice, G Too many men, have died before, C G Their scattered round, on foreign shores. C G Have you gone, to see the graves, D7 Of the many men, C G Our many brave, VERSE 3 G Don’t talk of peace, with a hollow jaw, C G Don’t send our families, off to war, C G Its peace on earth, good will to men, D7 G What happens now, is up to them, VERSE 4 G With our lives, you’re playin, but it’s a rusty sword, C G Don’t pull it out, there’s no reward, C G Just misery, across the land, D7 G Then we patch it up, and start again, CHORUS So all you toys, in government, C G Prime ministers, and presidents, C G Chiefs of staff, and bully boys, D7 You call the tune, C G But hear our voice, Too many men, have died before, C G Their scattered round, on foreign shores. C G Have you gone, too see the graves, D7 Of the many men, C D7 Our many brave, C D7 Of the many men, C D7 Our many brave (Fade) HOPE YOU LIKE HUTCH

reptyle Posted January 11, 2009 Keep Your Cactus To Yourself, a poem. Sitting high atop the righteous mountain, Bumbbleing for a friend, A simple device this repercussion, Bringing only your wildest dreams, A single cut divides this life, A special broths divine insight, Rhyme or reason, Let there be one, Throughout this forest, Alone to heal a mind, Movements of amplified respect, An innate concern, Sacred laughter fit, It was a secret to begin, A Cleansed vessel, Requiring passage, Rites to faith, Subjects of service, Pleasant dreams of floating, Atop the righteous mountain.
