Hard to tell from the photos but I see only two main veins per leaf, so I'd guess not.

IMO its definitely not obtuse, the edges (margins?) of the phyllodes are smooth and the tips and pointed.

I have no idea about longifolia.

Looks like Longifolia from the pictures... and since you're from Sydney I'd assume it probably is.

i don't think its either... the longifolias have just finished flowering so there should be some old flower spikes on it if it was longifolia, and it looks a little like obtus except there's no red colouring

Hey all, regarding the flowering... don't know if anyone has noticed but in the close up pics of the stems young long green seed pods can be seen. To me this would suggest that it probably flowered quite recently...
