I think the world at present appears to be deteriorating and to some it might be seen as regression but I think its just the journey we as a whole have to go through to learn. I guess lessons can be learnt from mistakes. Even though a lot of things that humanity has displayed can be seen a negative or wrong, I think it is whats necessary for us to inevitably progress. You seem really 'switched on' I'd say and sure have many insights to teach (whether we listen or not) but goddammit you have a tendency to ramble, i just can't be stuffed wading through the junk to pick up the philosophical gems you scatter through it. Keep it up though! You've got the fermentation process ok now just learn to distill. I think that's why i can't be stuffed ..'thinking out loud' anymore on these forums and trying to get my ideas down, for Myself mostly and to share too. I have just as much trouble wading through my Own thoughts... Thing is we're all experiencing this subjectively and whatever new realisations anybody has can profoundly influence others, cuz altho its all subjective we still share the same essence, and it is through sharing these ideas that we sometimes see this 'common ground' in thinking and see our similarity, our ultimate sameness. So to me... progress hmm, well is all cyclical i spose. at one time long ago there was god and bliss, then for the fun of it, pain and suffering and disconnection from god (from your own SELF). Progress... i guess you could just call change or the cosmic rythms of time or someshit. Cuz everything happens progressively... in our illusion of linear time at least. Anyhow I remember reading about evolution and involution, evolution being the increasing complexity of form and involution being a return to the primordial or the source i suppose. I think that at this swing of the pendulum perhaps involution would be more progressive cuz the only thing we've got to look forward to traveling this direction is some kind of "final entropy" (i dont believe in it and have faith in constant creation, no 'end time') see I'm ranting again, fuck it! Anyhow complexity and diversity is all good, but I think it's important to simplify things too. one need only look at our scientific thinking to see how incoherent and seemingly over-complicated the fields of science are.We need a holistic view of life linking mind/spirit, matter/energy, knowledge/imagination, rationality/unsanity ego/god, StatusQuo-based-reductionism/Open-mindedMagickalManifestation into a working MODEL. I think it is important in this age of specialised knowledge and restricted world views in terms of scientific/religious/social paradigms to communicate as best we can, with our own limited perspective to create a synthesised global world view.
