gomaos Posted January 31, 2002 One use I know of is that atropine is used to revive heart attack patients...I saw it first hand in hospital when they were giving a heart patient atropine... Another use I know of is against asthma...
Smiling Cloud Posted January 31, 2002 THey make eye dilation drops from it as well. I mistook some of these drops for some anti-red eye drops and dilated my eyes for a week.

gomaos Posted January 31, 2002 i thought the stuff in motion sickness tabs was called dramamine....?
rkundalini Posted January 31, 2002 From memory, Kwells actually contain scopolamine ("hyoscine" as it is called on the label). Similar though. The thing in dramamine (Dramamine is a brand name...) I think is a synthetic with both antihistamine and anticholinergic (a la atropine and friends) effects.
spiraleyes Posted January 31, 2002 isnt Dramamine the stuff i read about all over the place to reduce nausea following injestion of other psychoactives? i suppose swallowing a small amount of brug leaves etc would have a different effect, than just the extraction? psycho0 Posted January 31, 2002 i think it's hyoscine which is mainly used for motion sickness
