Also, was it you looking for a length of A. obtusifolia for use as a staff? If so, did you get that sorted? As I might know where to get some lengths of the heartwood etc. [no bark]. tonic Posted May 25, 2007 (edited) I think there is a nice piece of gnarly heartwood I saw in the bush that is all twisted with lots of borer holes and knobs and gnarls, looks pretty nice. Not exactly a full staff as it's about 2 feet long and around 70-80mm thick? Will post a pic of it over the weekend for you to see if it's suitable and if you like it. Probably some skinnier bits that are longer but they don't look as good as the smaller length. Not sure how to go about sending if you want it, am sure I can figure out a way. t st tantra Posted July 11, 2007 (edited) just simmer in water for an hour or so,pour off and strain ,add new liquid and repeat .do this 2 or 3 times,use acid if you want but it doesnt seem to be needed. then reduce to 1/4 cup or so. low dose is roughly 2and a half grams dried leaf. t s t .
