Look I been smoking since I was ten and I tell you that the odd puff hasnt done me any harm. When I had to leave school at age 13 becaue they reckon I was too dum and lacked attention I went to work at the abbatoir and made a life for meself. In fact 20 years on I am still working in the same job and still going strong. And they try and tell you that people who smoke dope lack dediciation,. I met my wife Sharon at a party after Morphy Reds lost the garnd final back in 92 against the cobras. She doesnt mind a bit of gear either, in fact if it wasnt for the smoking we might necer had met because my pipe was blocked and had to ask to borrow hers. We had six kids over 5 years and they've all turned out OK, reckon they might even go to high school as well so that would make us both proud. Three of my kids has real bad asmtha so we are hoping that they will find a cure for that real soon - me and Shazza have decided to cut down to only three joints a day so we can make a donation to Asmhta Research with the money we save. You politicians and people who live at Unley should ease off the dope and focus on the reall issues like putting murderes in prison and getting real drugs off the street like quaaludes, ice and viagra. That right there man is why in my teens I never let anyone call me a stoner despite the fact that I burned pot like a DEA incinerator at times. I saw 'stoners' as being the corruption of pot use into a mindless form of hedonism devoid of tangible benefit to oneself. I loved to smoke a bowl/drop acid with my friends and hike through the forest contemplating human nature, mans place in the universe, and the remarkable aesthetic value of a leaf when seen with fresh eyes.This is why, after a bit of experimenting, I decided not to use alcohol. It was fun and all but when it came down to it there was no tangible benefit- just a sheepifying pleasure drug that amplifies the monkey mind and makes people a slave to The Man.
