spiders Posted February 8, 2003 I was wondering which areas of Australia would provide the best natural conditions for Sativa? Ofcourse i am curious about the varieties of Sativa that are non-THC containing and used for manufacture.
Slarty Fart Blaster Posted February 9, 2003 Off topic, but have you ever come across A.B.C, Aussie bastard cannabis. Would love to hear how the breeding program with Flo went ?. Have a look at Old Mother Sativa from Kogs own seeds. www.greengrasspub.com.au www.bigbookofbuds.com If i had the climate i would love to try some of the Brazillian genetics. Jack Posted February 12, 2003 I believe that it was wild hemp in the hunter valley.
Smiling Cloud Posted February 12, 2003 It was hemp, but it was also plenty smokeable. Because it wasn't illegal until 1937 (?) the strains that they brought in in the 1800's were just ganja but used for hemp. Some of these escaped into the wild and established themselves until the 60's when everyone smoked the wild population until it was no more. As told to me by this 50 y/o man that i know. Smiling Cloud Posted February 12, 2003 Back to your original q though. They have started hemp trials here in bundy and I think there are some up at childers. And they grow a fair bit of "magic" hemp in gin gin and south kolan. I did a little work with the hemp in bundy, they must stress them like all fuck because EVERY seedling that i planted was either male or hermy, none just female.
