simon_marklar Posted February 9, 2007 “You have a sensory overload, a less filtered experience of your sensory input.” so what are we filtering out? very interesting.
teonanacatl Posted February 9, 2007 so what are we filtering out? Noise. Unwanted nerve signals. In the heat if you close your eyes you will see lots of colours flashing, this is nerves in your eyes firing off due to the heat, its quite noticable i find when its really sunny. Hex_OMEGA Posted February 9, 2007 so what are we filtering out?very interesting. don't know if it's very accurate but we're probally just filtering out everything happenning at once?? I remember watching a doco...ecstasy rising I think?? but any way they had a scientist/doctor saying that one nerve receptor while on e floods the next receptor with seratonin, and that when your on LSD it's like one nerve receptor being plugged into the next receptor and the next and being plugged into bill and jane down the street and their dog and the neighbours cat and the whole next street....or something to that effect!
