While i get a half decent easterly, being enclosed on 3 sides seems to reduce strong wind significantly. The sail is only 2.5 x 3m. -

Probably not the kind of strong winds your talking about. Could you expand on your comment? Would like to know which part in particular you think will stress with high winds. I do intend to shorten the chain and add tramp springs, when i find some. -

Queens Gardens would have plenty of parking close by after 4*. But your right, its not cheap. Both the red and yellow cats stop right outside too. How about we stick with South Perth? Are we all talking about Monday arvo or Sunday? *on weekdays assuming the cricket isn't on.
