  3. Just wondering if anyone has these cacti and would like to trade or sell them. /applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/boga/html/Pelecyphora.aselliformis.ka1.JPG&key=9d0c7c57f25d3d5fdc0cd4dd491657037c3c2878574c2b2821649482945d2f9d I bet with the right frame of mind it would look like hundereds of millipedes coming out of the cactus!
  4. Now none of the pics of my items are on there. They just disappeared. What is going on T?

  6. looks the same as the mushies in the first pic, in the first post. They were also a little slimey with the dark spore deposits on the stem, grey to black/purple gills and no bruising was observed.

    Melbourne mushies

haha. yeah a good mate in Melbourne got this nice little haul at the start of the season down there. I wish i had accsess to the carpark mushie patches up here, although it would take all the fun out of going for a pick. Plus i think i prefer mushies from a nice forest environment rather than a suburban shopping centre carpark .
  9. I once started an "aprenticeship" at a major melbourne tattooist. The selection process included two interviews and a "test" on drawing and copying skill. There was well over 100 people vying for the position and only two of us were selected. I was stoked that i finally had my dream job and was on my way down the path i had always wanted to be on. I lasted two weeks. The first hurdle was the pay. I left a secure job as a labourer getting $500 for five days a week down to getting $200 for 6 days of varying hours. Being the new guy all the cleaning up at the end of the day was mostly left to me and sometimes the day would finish at 10pm. This wouldnt have bothered me that much if like the other employees i lived in neighbouring suburbs but i lived in Moonee Ponds and the studios are at Ringwood and Lilydale. This prolly doesnt mean much to anyone that isnt from Melbourne but its about 4 hours travell each day on public transport. This left me with barley enough time in the day to scratch my arse let alone do all the normal things one needs to do, ie- shopping, washing and basic cleaning "BRAND NEW NEEDLES EVERY TATTOO" haha, brand new straight out of the autoclave. My main job was cleaning needles but i also cleaned floors, windows, mirrors and even toilets, wow. I also sorted magazines(the owner is the owner/editor of a tatt mag) into piles. I did get taught how to pierce various body parts but a drunk chimp could do piercing as far as im concerned. When i asked the boss about having a go with the gun on the pig skin, he laughed and replied "yeah one day mate, we have to teach you to clean first" <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_BANGHEAD2.gif So i only lasted 2 weeks, but if i had of continued i prolly would have starved to death anyway or died from exhaustion. I have only enquired about one other "aprenticeship" since then, and just like you said creach, you have to buy your way in. The price asked was $8000. Screw that. The only way i will get into it now is backyarding. I know it conjurs up all sorts of nasty images but it is the only way to really get into the trade if you dont wanna be a shitkicker or part with heaps of coin. Anyone got an old gun layin around <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_tongue.png

    Tool!

As long as Tool play their own shows i will be happy. No freakin way would i pay the ridiculous price for a BDO ticket, just to push my way through crowds of hyperactive teenagers and line up for hours to drink and piss. I have only attended 3 BDO's, 95,96,97(i think, my memory aint that good) and after the last one i vowed never to return. I hate massive crowds of people that are all trying to go different directions at the same time. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_mad.gif I much prefer to see a band at their own gigs with one or two support acts, although i missed the supports last time i saw Tool at rod laver arena. I think it was the melvins that i missed too <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_BANGHEAD2.gif <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_devil.gif See all you Tool freaks there <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_devil.gif
  12. Sorry BM, but that little fella got mixed in with a whole pile of other dried mushies <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_sad.png . Looks like it might have to wait till next season. It is only a very small area where i found them, adjacent to a very well known patch. The main patch is pine but i prefer the small native patch nearby that more often than not gets overlooked by the masses. Yes, and thank you BM. <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_shroomer.gif<___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_shroomer.gif<___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_shroomer.gif
  13. Doesnt look like it. There was still three up last night but there is only one left now. A nice bridgexperuvi on there at the moment.
  14. Dont worry BM, my partner assures me that once you give birth the pain will go away <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_tongue.png
  15. Most of the mushies i have seen in melbourne have come from mulched garden beds, so who really knows their origins? Mushies that i have collected from native forest around outer N.E. Melbourne have been fairly dissapointing in potency although very plentiful(and BIG). The mushies from the other direction, towards Daylesford, were a smaller mushies more like the ones found in mulched gardens in Melbourne, the latter of the two seemed alot more potent. The potency of mushies seems to vary alot from patch to patch, year to year. I personally beleive you only get out of the mushies what you LET yourself get. I know people that due to their macho image, cannot and will not let the mushies take over and therefore never get the full benefit. I have almost broken through on mushies, well, i did, and it was only after consuming 24 fresh medium sized mushies in the right place at the right time with the right friend. Since then i have doubled this dose many times to try and acheive the same effect, but i realised that the dose was only a minor part of what i was trying to acheive.
