    any old ravers out there?

I raved in Sydney from late 91 through to around 2000, and still go to the very occasional catch up event. Srh do family friendly day events in Sydney park around once a year, they're good fun for those of us who find it hard to commit to a full on night.

    Eriobotrya japonica (loquat)

I used to love loquats but I thought they were a declared pest because of fruit flies?

    Detox advice

Toast, I reckon what you need is to let your body do what it knows how to do. You'll need to get your heart rate up over 130 for a minimum of 45 minutes at a time, that will kick your system over from using glycogen stores into burning up fats. That will clear out any stores of canna-metabolites and a lot of lethargy will dissipate, and make it seem easier to tackle everything else. Moral support from good mates goes a long way too. Get someone to call you or text you every few days and just ask how you're doing. It really helps.

    NSW to ban dog races

The mistreatment of the dogs can't be defended, but it is another swipe at the working classes. Dog racing aficionados are not held in the high esteem that their equine counterparts are. It's reflected in the continual increase in taxes on beer while wine remains heavily subsidised. When casino mike bans imports of foie gras we will start to take his concern for animal welfare seriously.

That's a beauty. I love seeing massive cacti allowed to reach their potential in gardens, it warms my cold heart.

WA police crack down on people picking magic mushrooms

I watched a doco on ballingup and the sub culture maybe 20 years ago and the cops were all over it even then. I thinking was called "fungimentary".

Man, I feel your pain. I hate mites. I bought a chilli plant a few years ago that introduced the little bastards into my garden and they laid waste to a lot of plants. Go hard on them early, don't mess around.

I could be wrong, but it looks like mite damage to me. In saying that though, I've never had a problem with mites on psychotria even when they've been in close proximity to plants that had mites. Get a magnifying glass with a minimum 10x magnification and look on the underside of the leaves for any tiny creatures or their eggs. You can find lots of images of mites etc online that will help you determine if this is the cause of your problem. If it is mites, they are a bastard to get rid of without systemic treatment.

What does shamanism mean to you?

I feel the word shaman has been devalued. The traditional meaning is not important however, because we no longer live in a traditional tribal way. The meaning of words change over time and that's ok. To me it's a way of trying to make sense of the cosmos that doesn't require faith or belief in the intangible, because it allows direct access to it instead. It allows for creativity: syncretic amalgamation of parts of any system that hold meaning to the individual.

Help make this patch thrive. (P. subaeruginosa??)

They look exactly like the lil ones I've been admiring in my home patch, and the chips I was gifted were passed on as sub spawn. I have been admiring them before the slugs eat them all, and despite some odd shaped caps, they are certainly worth our admiration. Feed them some new chips once they are done flushing. Softwood will be quicker to colonise, but some hardwood should add longevity. Spread some colonised chips to new areas to assist them.

Good on you buddy, beautiful pic. I wish you every happiness, you deserve it.

    Silly car Q

Try toyodiy.com It can be tricky to find a part number for cars from the caps diagrams, which is why most repairers employ a parts interpreter. Sometimes you can't just order a part alone, you might have to order an entire assembly.

    Purple nurple

It may be a cold weather response where uptake of phosphorus from the soil becomes less efficient and the plant shows this colour. A lot of plants do it. Or I may be way off the mark!
  24. I'm sure you've probably already done so, but if not, I'd suggest you read through this thread.
