Triacontanol is present in alfalfa meal. Which is a component of a compost starter/organic fertilizer I add to the soil of all my Trichocereus. Seems to encourage pupping to some degree.

In the states A is long jointed and B short jointed. Elsewhere it is the opposite. To further confuse things Sacred Succulents( the original nursery to claim to have started the A-B naming) also has a clone C

I repotted year old seedlings yesterday that had what looked like week old seedlings that just recently popped up.

Repotted 4 community pots of Tricho seedlings into 9pk cells packs. The 4 pots contained over 75 seedlings in them total so it was a rather tedious and time consuming task. But they'll appreciate the breathing room.

Received a package from a friend in Brazil today that has been in the post for about 4 weeks. Around 10 leaves of psychotria viridis total. Seems that about 6 decided to start throwing roots in transit. 3 different phenotypes from Santo Daime churches in the amazon rainforest ;)

Moved around a dozen or so pots of seedlings out of the propagation box and into the greenhouse. Most with 20+ per pot. Starting to amass needed supplies to make heaps of potting mix for the massive repot adventure to come. Peruvian cola(Peru x scop) seedling box

Problem with the mason jar is drainage. Pots are actually used in the Baggie method so once removed seedlings can be grown own in said pots. I tried the takeaway tek and Baggie tek and the bag works better for me personally. I start poking holes in the Baggie once I start get about 50% or better germ rate and add a few more holes every few days. By 2-3 months they've left the Baggie all together. I am in a humid enviro tho so drier climes would do better to leave them in the bag for longer. M S Smith has a good write up on it. However I don't sterilize soil and omit other steps as I've gotten a little more experience but it's a good beginning point. http://cactus-mall.com/ccc/

Fair enough I'm just trying to keep the worthless douchebags out. I've been fucked over a fair few times by well meaning "newbs". I mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion and can trade with whom they want. But I'm suggesting that we follow the said guidelines to weed out the fucksticks. I notice you didn't mention the traders rep...... This is more important to me than probably anything else. If you're a shitty trader than other users will call you out.... I also stated 100 post count and/or 6 months membership and since you've been here since July i would assume you'd have remained silent dox

Okay so just to deter any shadiness, I think some ground rules need to be put in place. 1. Minimum 6 months membership on the forum and or 100+ post count minimum. 2. All members must have a member trading reputation thread. You can start these yourself btw This is just to deter any new members coming in and messin up a good thing. There tend to be a lot of people who join and just want freebies or get their end of a trade and disappear. This has happened to me on a few occasions (on other sites not here).If you want to sell/giveaway to newb than that's your perogative.
