  1. don't use brugmansia and datura, and even mexican poppy is something people don't want to repeat. educate youreselve more, research more.... sunopener, scelitium, withania, calea.....
  2. i often have thought of alternative (non sterile teks) but what i saw a few weeks ago, totaly surprised me and i had never heard of anything similar before. at a plant swap meet, this lady showed a medium sized zip lock bag, which was full of healthy looking myzelium (sorry i'm mildly dyslexic) of a wood lover. and all she did was, when cooking she took the stems off each mushroom, and put it into the bag. i don't know for how long and how often she did that, but the bag was uncontaminated, all though none of the steps taken were sterile. would be nice to find out if that would work as well for manure lovers.
  3. i searched for this post for you, because storing pollen is very benefical to your question. if we all would store trich pollen, you could be helped immediatly. if you recieve some pollen, you can store some of it. sorry to say i got no pollen...
  4. i haven't read the technical pharma stuff, but can say that isolated sceletium alks are very powerfull, and once prduced a very instant euphoric experience for me after pyrolysing the alks. and i don't even like any kind of ssri's, has as well potential to produce synergies with other drugs.
  5. please pm me soon, if you want a rifat clone kratom, this season. feb was when they arrived last year! they are hardy and tough plants, very easy to grow. but don't over fertillize them, in an attempt to speed up there growth. they grow fast anyway.
  6. it's a very tough plant, that can take care of it selfe, it's very drought hardy, and survives in my garden without any care. once every two years or so, after plenty of rain, i run the lawn mover over it, on highest setting. than it reshoots with lush grow. without pruning it almost only produces very small leaves and seed in abundance.
  7. to hot at my place to grow it, i envy you! grew it in europe, from seed collected in peru. it's very cold hardy, surviving frost, ideal for cold parts of oz.
  8. hi! i am ph, and created the planthelper strain, which is a cross of vienna white and syd narrow leaved. it displays hybreed virgor. the plants in the pics look to me, what i call red narrow leaved. the ph doesn't display reddish hues. i used to trade a lot of seeds as well, many of them produce a variety of plants. the important question to answere is, "are they selfpollinated" or had two or more different parents? f2 would mean a ph crossed with an other strain, it looks it was a red!
  9. i once bought a plant at bunnings, it grew so fast, i culled it as planted it out at a wrong spot. it has a very good ethnobotanical usage, they seed are rich in vitamin c and are said to have been used by ancient seafaraes, to avoid scorbut. they said to last for years, for this purpose. shows us as well how ancient cultures were often smarter than us.
  10. it looks glaucasios (spell?) light blueish to me. maybe a macrogonus??
  11. if nothing works out for you, pm me, neem is a common tree in my area. could need though some time before i can pick good seeds.
  12. a subject close to my heart! all though i was once having an audiance with "god" on a mushy trip, i seperate spirituality from halus. i was brought up ultra katholic, but it never clicked with me, but the singing in church felt nice. later i realised that music was a very cool gift from nature, and that all religions have a good aim, to make you a better person... i worship nature, and quantum physics tell me that the univers is an incredible place. i have to finish this another time, i use a puplic pc, and people around me are disrespectfull...
  13. as well i am consciously looking out for it, so i might at times make a data collecting mistake. a good friend of mine, days ago seemed to do it (first time i noticed in years) after me taliking that the medicine bag of native north americans are made out of a scrotum. some people do it a lot though, and watching rage the other day, i saw one of the village people do it, singing ymca....
  14. fyzygy gave good advice! a good face to face councelor can make a big difference, don't go on seeing somebody , who doesn't "click" with you. phone counceling services are as well very good at times, call till you "click" with a person. i struggle with all of the above as well, and prescription drugs, had always bad side effects, (i don't even like sceletium). moclobomide has been taken off the psb, but is what was suggested. i have used plant maoi's, instead of moclobomide. as said, sun, excercise and good nutrition make a big difference, as doe's the abilety to end relationships which are not reciprocal beneficial. lagochilus, withania, and sinicuichi, sun opener, could all help too. only when you get older like the 60 's one understands how trauma affects us, in so many different ways.
  15. link requires some age verification, or creation of an account. so i will not read.... put's the whole community in ill repute!
  16. i haven't read your post, i'm late for a visit.... querbeet in wien sells lago herb, and all the seeds that come with it, germinated well. more later, should grow well in europe.
  17. i want to add, that this seed (all acacia seeds) responds very well, to re wetting. meaning let the pot's dry out for a while and than, water well again. it's a safty mechanism, from the seed, so it doesn't germinate, if there was only little rain. pretty smart of those seeds, hey?!!😏
  18. i sowed out some withania seeds yesterday! i like how the forum can act as a motivator, for me to do more in my garden!
  19. i don't know how frost sensitive they are, as i always haverested the roots before winter. some potatoe bug, has been eating all the leaves of my plant, so i might harvest the plant soon. if motivated i will plant fresh seeds soon, and see how they take my mild frosts, in sheltered spots. more than 20 years ago, i did a hot water extraction with the root, it was very good. you freeze the decotion, so it doesnt go bad. alcohol, is not such a good solvent for withania says's my instincts. but commercial withania is alcohol extracted... it depends on the polarity... one needs to make trials.
  20. the products sold in the pharmacies also contain the leaves, so it should be ok. some herbalist sold me chopped up stems of withania as root material, so caution is needed, as some traders are malicious. i did a bio essay on 3 or more products sold in pharmacies and found most of them not very active. some products add vitamin b compounds, which is a stupid idea, because i can't use it at night time (when anxiety peaks) as the vitamin b, doesn't let me sleep. home grown herb, is superior and you avoid using an inferior product as sold by pharmacies. withania seems to like colder climats, the plants grown in europe, i inspected were up to 2m tall. but mine in oz stay small. is it dwarfism produced by heat stress, or are there different strains around? the smell and color of hot water extracted withania, resembles that of poppy, and as that explains it's second latin name somnifera. i believe laudanum doesn't help with anxiety, but withania does. if any of you grow large withania strains please, send me a pm.
  21. how is it that, people, animals, plants, and basicly any life form, get's often a bad reputation, which is created by uneducated people. this ignorance, at times is the source, for people harming me, and animals. sharks get killed with, blood lust, and the society and media shouts hurray! i don't like for example white ants close to my house, but that doesn't make me hate them generaly. or migrants, they saved australia, and continue to do so, but get dispiesed by a large proportin of citycens. lantana is holding the soil together and avoids as such erosion. it provides abundant food for insects, and it's flowers are beautyfull. i recomand sterile lantana as a landscaping plant! i'm sorry for my spelling, mild dyslexia...
  22. reading you paper, i suddenly had the idea, that medicines form genetic relationships with people. meaning if you have genes far removed from the people of the amazon, those remedies will be less effective. health professionals never take into account that, for many people some drugs don't work, or negative side effects outweigh the positive. in the future, the doctor will look into your genome and than prescribe....
  23. gone! btw, rifat aka four seasons, is the same clone.
  24. one rifat available, pm me for details. pm me as well if you have interest for next year (grown to order).
