I had heaps years ago I bought them at the green scorpion forum. But not that keen to go back on it. I liked the little Lychas marmoreus because they would live in groups and were really active and the squama because they were psychotic lol.

I think people wouldn't use it anyway. Can you imagine how regularly the place would be raided. what a Nightmare that would be with a head full of colour. -
I'll grow some and graft them if you have some spare.

genome map it and its yours for a price.

I think because monsanto has significantly manipulated the plants there patents will still hold on there own products. Will be interetsing to see how they go on plant genetics they have earmarked.

Gms not a magic wand they are producing better heat tolerant wheat that can yield reasonable crops and a cultivar to crop on salt affected soils but flooding is flooding, we need to stop relying on Wheat. If we intend to feed the planet we have to adapt or perhaps "de-evolve"from our western headspace and start eating smarter and more traditional crops (doesn't really help the English but us n the sub trops can have a win , not just for the simple fact that we can know longer produce enough, and that is at our current global population, but that wheat is just not very good for us. The greatest issue is the potential rice of 15% in pricing. I'd hate to live in the middle East or Africa and see that sort of jump in price. Google 2008 world grain shortage. Hey Bullit you do much stone fruit where you are? Big changes coming in QLD soon mate, the industry is gonna get fucked to pieces. -
Anyone studying AND working full-time?

I would be a bit wary of grafting a loph to something in the ground in North QLD. Lots of humidity and Rain (mainly concerned at the Graft join). Make sure to "bevel" the pach at the join to allow for rain to run off and not rot out your loph.

If I see one I'll buy it for you.

yeah I think I will have to let it grow a bit before I try and do any surgery, but it was a hamiltons plant so its around for those looking.

Mind you when I got it was almost bare rooted. So probably took a while to sort its self out.

That would be great. Love the albino and variegated. spach/ scope would make for an interesting cacti. -
Variations of progeny from a single Lobivia cross, lots of albinoism and some monstrose growth. Male flower was bright Pink/ purple female lemon white so should make for some unusual developments. http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2019-1_zps70d86f38.jpg.html'> http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2018-2_zpsaded4737.jpg.html'> http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2017_zps318b8efd.jpg.html'> http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2016-1_zps81a9701d.jpg.html'> http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2015-2_zps82b2df78.jpg.html'>

They grow well on peres, I'm thinking I may see flowers this summer which will be awesome. http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2002-21_zps5a4e5202.jpg.html'> http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2007-8_zps99f6c6db.jpg.html'> G ragonesei x G mihanovichii filadelfiense [/url[url=http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2012-4_zps62d58b89.jpg.html] G guerkeeanum x G baldianum http://s111.photobucket.com/user/stillmanz/media/DSCF2013-5_zps6dcd7d0b.jpg.html'> G paraguayense-fleischerianum x G baldianum So far it looks like the G baldianum genetics will muscle out the G paraguayense-fleischerianum but will be interesting to see the flower. G guerkeeanum had a yellow flower so will be interesting to see what the hybrids develops into.
