Hi, Have been recently trying to find a phalaris aquatica species, and have taken some photos of these, and was hoping someone familiar with phalaris aquatica could ID them. this phalaris bush was quite large, 1m x 1.5m this phalaris was alot smaller 50cmx30cm are these photos sufficient enough for ID if mroe photos are needed i can capture them

Tripsis. thanks for the fertilizer advice, im going to leave the cactus spread out as they are which will allow me to leave them from 6 months - 1 year without haveing to stress the by moving them i read somewhere cactus like lateral root space and they can be stressed to close together, my goal is to grow them all as fast as possible and thats by not disturbing the baby roots Blowng. i will do 7cm just to give them extra room incase they need it and after using canna fertilizer it crosses my mind if it could be good in your morning cereal really good fertilizer ;) and providing all the nutrients a plant could want to grow if you had the option to add it asif you wouldnt.

yeh it does but priced at $22 for 50 seeds $51 for 100 seeds. lol you save over 10% by buying 2x 50 seed packets rather than 1x 100 pack ive emailed him to get some proper prices i will also post here how long it takes to get a reply

hi everyone, SOIL i read that a balance between the water holding capacity, aeration and drainage in a medium is key to optimal growth which i wanted to ask, i have potting soil, seed rasing mix, fine rocks, vermiculite, perlite, peat moss and sand. what would be a good ratio mix of they above. FERTILIZER so today i have been on the hunt for fert and bought some today which i was told was the best, its called CANNA VEGA, it was $40 and won first price at the dutch growers festival. The clerk said that he wouldn't recommend buing any extra plant supplements because that has all it needs, i further read on the back of the fert i bought off him and you can add cannazym, rhizotonic, and canna boost excelerator i think some of the metnioned above can help anybody know which onces. this all started today when i received some very healthy plants from plant helper and noticed his soil was a fair bit sandier than mine, thus beter drainage, and i think he uses a really good fert! POSITIONS i put a thermometer in my mini green house today, was pretty shocked to see my greenhouse was sitting at 39c today at around 2o'clock. this is too hot for viridis i think they prefer say 25c? i have another mini green house that gets hotter and want to know which plants to seperate into which so 1 - greenhouse 1 is coolest which is the one i measured today at 39c here in melb we had a high of 22c 2 - greenhouse 2 is warmest ofcourse if a species will grow better outside in spring rather then a greenhouse they can be left outside and my greenhouse can have flyscreen instead off plastic to be more cool. i can apply shade cloth to both green houses, and bothe get same amount of sun. the plants are: viridis caapi k hat ephedra HBWR san pedro alot of the above plants i dont have but this information will allow me to know what i can fit where into my garden, thanks guys (^ ^) also what can i use to grow my vines onto!!!! went to the discount nursery and its $12 for a thing that you put in your pot plant and the vine grows onto (metal cone shaped wire), dont know what there called lol! but is this the most preferred method buying a few of these to grow a potted vine plant? one day ill have them vibrant green babies! offtopic but saves me from starting a one liner thread does anybody know how many k hat leaves to chew?

Alice, thanks for the info in regard to the vines, im moving in a year so i cant grow them onto a tree im just going to have to go with the painfully expensive vine cage things from bunnings. so if i was potting the capi and HBWR should i pop them in the greenhouse or out? for the cath leaves, i could fit my whole plant in my mouth lolol got to wait till it grows alot bigger thanks MagicDirt, i decided im going to buy flyscreen and replace a whole wall of my greenhouse with flyscreen, then arrange the cooler palnts towards the flyscreen and the ones that like more heat towards the back. and with greenhouse B i will leave empty without adding ventilation and use when the weather cools down. with greenhouse greenhouse A and ill lay mulch our hay between all the pots to make them feel snuggly warm during the cold winter and that breeze there going to get

hey doode, im no plant guru although ive helped my viridis threw tuff times, first i reccomend getting a plastic bottle halfing it and puttting it on your viridis for some extra hummidity, then go to bunnings buy a 70% or 90% shade cloth in the gardening section $5 worth, somehow put the shadecloth over it if there in direct sun, mist twice a day preferrably before peak heat and after peak heat, although i believe a shade cloth well help with the the sun so if the leaves are most the water wont work as a magnifying glass and burn your blant, after some good plant food and growth remove the bottle slowly and you have a reborn virgin! when u mist just 1 pump or 2 at the most is more than enough.

hello hello, my silene capensis is about a meter tall, not very sturdy and blows in the wind very easily, i have it in a mini greenhouse, so in theory its roots wont be strong enough to face wind which it has never faced before, i'd like to move it outside to make room for other plants, will this plant die outside the greenhouse or break in the wind, if its a 50/50 chance to take, im willing to take the chance just thought i'd post before i did something stupid, =] btw: its my first non-gender baby that has flowered (referring to plants as male or female baby's is abit too loco. thaaaaaaaaaaankss!

hey mac and others, i purchased a vaporiser about 6 months ago from another source, and i HIGHLY recommend buying one, i use about 40-50% less herb than usual, so if the vaprorizer cost you $150 dollars and you smoke 1g of herb a week usually you would pay for the vaporizer within 20 weeks, also your lungs will thank you, the effect is a much cleaner more energetic high. anything after 20 months your SAVING MONEY i know crazy rite and you'd think smokers have plenty deep thought sessions and and most dont even have a vaporizer. you must buy one!
