I saw this big cactus on a walk around my place. I might ask for a cutting off the beast, maybe even offer them a carton for one of the big trunks.

The biggest trunk stands almost 3m tall, there are 6 trunks. There is another identical one next to it that stands almost as high with 4 trunks

i always find things imapled on spines, maybe they are an adaptation for increased nutriends, i mean the things impaled, dies and releases nutrients to the cactus.

i've found moths, butterflies, jumping spiders and most hilariously, a fly impaled on some of my cacti.

Flies seem pretty good at avoiding certain death with that one exception.

that cactus is a fat beauty btw!

What the hell mexicali, thats definitley not a S. coryne. Perhaps a joke that I didn't get, haha, especially since you're normally so anal about names of things yet you capitalised the species name.

It looks like T. macrogonus to me.
