ENtiTY Posted November 25, 2010 I know this is an old thread but it is on the topic of my question. I'm looking to purchase PiHKAL & TiHKAL presently and the most abundant source seems to be from the US. Would these books present a problem with customs? Yawning Man Posted November 25, 2010 I've seen these books on fishpond.com. And i'm not certain but i think their warehouse is in aus. So no worries with customs there. But yeah, not 100% sure. Maybe even ask your local bookstore to order it in for you?
IceCube Posted November 26, 2010 IMO order the Shulgin Index along with the other 2 from the Transform Press website. Can't wait for the index!
Alice Posted November 26, 2010 I've seen these books on fishpond.com. And i'm not certain but i think their warehouse is in aus. So no worries with customs there. But yeah, not 100% sure. Maybe even ask your local bookstore to order it in for you? I've heard that if fishpond says the books aren't deliverable immediately (so if says it takes 10-20 days instead of 3-6 days) then they may ship directly from the NZ warehouse.... but I can't find anything on their website that says that they store books anywhere other than a Sydney location, so don't know how accurate this is. Maybe something to look into further if you're considering ordering.
Alice Posted November 26, 2010 And as for the borders link above, for pihkal it specifically says "Shipping from our overseas suppliers directly to you and sent via International Post". Be careful people.
