apothecary Posted February 12, 2006 Hi, Looking to propagate any of the medicinal Celastrus (e.g paniculatus) species, preferably one of the medicinal natives, and possibly procure some seed oil for use myself. Is it sold anywhere locally? If I'm gonna order stuff like that from overseas I may as well go synthetics PM me for trade or whatever we can work out
Torsten Posted February 12, 2006 don't think there is anyone locally. if you are going to get it from O/S the make sure to check Om-Chi herbs.
planthelper Posted February 12, 2006 t st tantra once sent me some celastrus seeds of a native plant, damm i forgot the second name of it. it's a funny plant, it looks like a vine with the appereance of catha... i remeber vividly he said it was also active, and friendly (om chi) replied something like i am always happy if people find active equvialants in ther native flora... so apoth ask tantra, he might have seeds to grow, but proly not enough for making oil.
