zee_werp Posted October 10, 2005 Wow mate, really, really nice flowers there...such vibrant colours, and very perfect formation. It (the top one) looks to be a species of Gymnocalycium. I don't know much about that genus though so not sure of the species. Very nice specimen though. As for the second one it looks to be a trichocereus...surely someone here might be able to point you in the right direction on that one. Bet its gonna be a nice flower too! faslimy Posted October 11, 2005 The ubelmannianus needs to be crossed, I had over 20 flowers in total on 4 plants but was late on pollinating them so only about half have started developing fruits as I type this. Rev Posted October 12, 2005 they should cross easily but youl need the pollen asap b4 other flower open its best to pollinate as soon as they open in the evening so they have all night for the pollen to germinate and start growing Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
