adelaide a goer

Recommended Posts

Inspection 2 weeks ago, at undisclosed adelaide location turned up some fungus activity, some amnitas and those big orange sponges. That was before any significant rain however. Since then it has been thundering down rain non stop, and the temp has been consistently very cold. I am certain there will be good goldies popped up all over. Adelaide seasons a goer! Will check in the next week and give a report. (ps..pick only what u will use) :)

Had a look just before all this last rain - diddly squat, not even a fly!

Only a few laughing gyms.

And my recent favourite area has gone. :(

Only had it for 3 years and last year was a total wash-out or should I say dry-out?

You can never rely on pine.

There one year and gone the next.

Thats great Trich-Aura, Nicely photographed. They are really tasty arent they, I just love that taste. Hey, anyone know about vitamin, minerals in special shrooms. I've got this idea that they are really nutritious

Said in his best Yorkeshireman/pirate/old-timer/gay Hobbit voice -

"Arrr, you be right thar' you be trixxy me lass, thar's gold in them thar' hills!"

Gold-tops that is!

Yeah I'll have to start checking out the hills again, I'm sure this rain we're having will be doing wonders!

@medicinedan i dunno about them being tasty, i have a hard time getting em down fresh. usually I leave them in a paper bag for a day so they are half dry then they are much easier to eat.

Myself and YT spent the afternoon up in the adelaide hills and found quite a few subs, didn't see any amanitas though which I thought was a little strange

Anyone had any luck down south on the Fleurieu Peninsula yet?
