Ashoka Posted September 16, 2002 Some people in scandinavia eat Boletus erythropus fresh for it's alledged psycoactive effect. This mushroom actually stains blue when bruised. Haven't tried myself yet, but if I find one I'll eat it - those boleti tastes really nice anyway. Sorry, I have no info on Boletus edulis.
