SAB mail server down!

Must be that time of year!

First I can't get at my PMs at EBA because my password is gone, have contacted 3 moderators there and received NO answer, now the SAB mail server is down (it says: Error, contact Board Administrator)

Could you please help, Torsten?

Hmmm, looks like a new problem. usually the mailserver just shits itself and then nothing works. At least we know nothing works cos it tells us.

Today it's a little different. The server looks like its working, but it is not receiving any mail. This is even worse than a total shut down, cos we don't know what's going on. Have contacted the admin and hope he can fix without losses. Will post later or tomorrow about whether we lost mail or not.

no mail was lost in yesterdays mailserver problems. there were a few problems again today, but only minor. no losses.

the web must be having a bad day, cos quite a few other services are down too. maybe too much of a virus load.
