archives?

maybe i'm tripping, but is there an archive forum on SAB? I'm sure I saw one at the start of the year. If there is one, what's the URL for it?

UBB 5.x used to have a separate archive. It's structure was such that it took up less space on the server and was easy to maintain - but only marginally.

UBB6.x got rid of this minor space saving in favour of lots of other features. It is still possible to turn a forum into an archive, or to create special archive forums, but they basically take up the same space as a normal active forum. I figured we'd kill two birds with one stone. One is to keep all threads active 'forever'. The other is to get rid of the extra 'forums' (ie archives) to keep the front page neat.

So, I have integrated all threads that were previously in the archives back into their relevant forums. This also improves searchability.
