im sure there are many topics that would fit in.

Ummm, I assume you mean for botanical AND synthetic medicines, medicinal theory, etc...? We might already have one, perhaps Torsten could clarify something:

Now that says pharmacology, not phytopharmacology.

My medical dictionary says 'pharmacology- The science which deals with the study of drugs in all its aspects'.

So Torsten, do synthetic medicines fit into ethnobotany or should they continue to get lost in the chill space?

many synthetics are derived or related to natural compounds, so more often than not there will be a good reason to put them into the ethnobotany forum. the rest i guess fit best into chill. Doesn't sound ideal eh...... but I am hesitant to create more forums. Maybe a combined medicine/chem/pharmacology/rec-drugs forum would be a good idea. It would have to be heavily moderated though to avoid trouble. I like the idea......

mmmm, i also cant stand it when theres far to many forums.

just thought something specifically for healing (mind and body) would be apropriate.

some good suggestions,discoveries etc get swamped easily.
