apothecary Posted June 22, 2005 Heard on the radio today that some government agency didn't want people sniffing glue so they were denaturing it. Fine, I guess, but other things that they wanted to denature at the same time were blah blah and last on the list: naptha. Since when did people sniff naptha? Torsten Posted June 22, 2005 naptha is shellite , ir petroleum ether. It is the fraction in petrol with the lowest boiling point. So petrol sniffers in fact sniff mainly 'naptha'. Makes sense to start there. About time they did this.
