Anyone here collecting species orchids?

Recommended Posts

Daniel is looking for people to swap pollen and seed with. He collects both australian and imported species.... and a few primary hybrids. No complex hybrids.

Especially interested in rare and endangered species, or those of ethnobotanical value. His collection will be integrated into the Wandjina Gardens plant collection.

He's just learning flasking, so flask swaps welcome too.

e-mail him directly on [email protected] or post here.

Im interested in collecting orchids (especially intersting ones, also ethnobotanical and interesting evolutionary steps like mimics in appearance of insects and/or pheromones and of course those that show off) I have a small collection that is slowly growing, so i would be more than happy to trade what i have when i can.

will email soon once i figure out what i have

We get these mad wild Orchids pop up in our yard.

They start out looking like an asparagus, and then turn out the most beautiful pink clusters.

I'll get a pic up when they arrive again. :D

Anyone know what they might be?
