toby Posted July 3, 2005 A friend from Byron land recently mentioned this plant as being a stimulant.. Mesembrine is mentioned as possible in some other Carp' species in Trout's notes.. Is this common knowledge? or crazy talk? If it is Mesembrine what kind of activity could one expect..
apothecary Posted July 3, 2005 It seems plenty of Mesembryanthemaceae genus plants are active I brought a few C. rossii home from Dee-Why beach, had them ID'd and someone mentioned they aren't too active.
toby Posted July 3, 2005 That would be about the stuff i was thinking of! But more Narrabeen-Longreef, I thought glaucescens was the only Carpobrotus we had around here?
occidentalis Posted July 3, 2005 I'd be keen for cuttings of any and all Carpobrotus species. Dunno why, I just have a thing for them. I have C. virescens and edulis if anyone's interested.
