kitty Posted September 3, 2003 SAB, medicine garden and australherbs all sell lobelia seeds medicine garden also sells lobelia plants All lobelias contain lobeline, which is what apparently helps you quit smoking (I think), so you could just as easily go to kmart and buy some lobelia seedlings for $2. Only problem is they aren't as big, and they're not as potent, but they should still do the job. t st tantra Posted September 3, 2003 i've tried a few lobelias,mainly tupa though because it seems so superior.its a large plant which puts out quite a bit of yellow/orange sap.breaking off a few leaves and collecting the sap on tally-hos provides enough for a nice colourful smoke.the lumps of dried sap will collect on the plant like opium anyway,but smoke better. i have not experienced any tobacco nausea when using lobelia and often smoked the two together. i feel lobelia may be interesting for trance dancing. unfortunately my tupa has died,torsten tells me a nursery in vic has plants.lobelia doesnt seem easy to grow from seed. t s t .
