Thelema Posted January 26, 2005 can someone spare a peruvian cutting for poor ol' Thelema? Nearly anything you want for trade. Please PM. Building up my cacti collection at the moment!
Ed Dunkel Posted January 27, 2005 I have a small cutting I was going to throw out (small as in the size of a thumb), it is from a graft stock that decided to throw a branch. You may have it. T. peruvianus from Matucana, Peru (Cactus Heaven seed grown).
Rev Posted January 28, 2005 can u post a pic please? Im accumulating peruvianoid cacti and it blows me away how differnt they are so we know the tick spined KK242 or in SAB list 'Gnosis' (Edits: WTF? this is not the same plant - no way! i will get a pic of mine soon to compare. nothing alike http://trout.yage.net/sc/KKTrichs/KK242_E1...9/E19index.htm) ahh... more like this one... ) but i have 2 other peruvianus with muc thinner spines - one red and one straw coloured but not only the spines are dffrent its whole growth pattern is different and then i have other peruvianoid types ill show as they reach their most represenative stature so my query is what does Peruvianus from matcana look like? (my current T pachanoi seed batch is a matucana collection) and what does T peruvianus from Aricapampa look like? (my newest batch of T peruvianus seedlings) [ 27.
