DJ-MC
I don't wanna sound like I wanna be spoon fed here maybe my research skills have gone to shit lol but I've been thinking and doing a bit of reading and was curious is the biosynthesis of alkaloids more determined by genetics or is it conditional?, it makes sense to me that the alkaloid profile is kinda coded in the plants genetics but then I really wonder if it has more to do with what the plant has available in the line of different micro-organisms, minerals, nutrients, ideal climate etc my bad if this has already been established and if so would appreciate some good references to check out Edited November 11, 2019 by DJ-MC
Strontium Dawg
I think in this case the answer is mostly due to genetics, environment will bring out the best, or limit the best outcomes. But I'm not scientifically equipped to prove it.
