sharxx101 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Hi everyone I would love some really good flavor chillies for the garden. I'm not into the super hot chillies but I do like the nice flavor types. I have scorpion, orange Habanero, thai hybrids, Negros and cayenne. looking for chocolate Habanero and nice flavor chillies. Have heaps for trade cheers Edited January 8, 2016 by sharxx101
theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted January 7, 2016 Not sure if it helps mate but I noticed at my local green shed they had a few racks worth of different exotic chilli plants for like 4-5 bucks, might be worth a look see
Brendo Posted January 7, 2016 Choc Habs & Aji Omnicolour are recommended.
coolname Posted January 7, 2016 I have some seeds available from a few different nice varieties if you want to sort something out. I will have to check exactly what I have tomorrow though
Derkshaman Posted January 8, 2016 I don't have any seeds, but I want to recommend for you to try to get ahold of some 'Chili Tepin' seeds. It's my favorite chili. It has an awesome smokey flavor to it, but isn't as hot as other peppers like habeneros. (I make a blend with habeneros to add heat, and the Tepins for FLAVOR). Tayoooooo Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) I have some seeds labeled 'black peal chilli' from my mum collected last year so should be viable. And two mystery chilli plants from a housemates brother if you're keen? I haven't grown the black pearl yet but the fruit looked like a small dark cherry. Pm me if you'd like to try them out. gtarman Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) I always hear people banging on about the chocolate hab. What makes it so different from other habs? How would you describe the flavour? Sharxx I had a thread a little while back asking for fave chilli recommendations and a few that came up that looked good were: Bahamian Goat Pepper, Fatali, and Yellow 7 Pot Edit: this is it if you wanted to take a gander http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=42223&hl= Edited January 9, 2016 by gtarman
