Awesome photos bro!

Thanks for putting them up. :)

I was lucky enough to make the pilgrimage down there last week, just missed ya, but I was too overwhelmed to take many photos. Was hard to capture the majesticness of the place I felt.

But you've done a top job!

Thanks again, brings back some great memories! :)

Hi Olive, amazing pics. I am glad that someone took pics before the plants ended up in the botanical garden. I know they can be photographed there too but I feel like the collection was a piece of art!

Historic Fields. That place is botanic history in itself! Turn it into a prickly farmers market produce park ;)

im glad you guys like the pics :)

wasn't really the time to compose frames and compositions.

they are ipad happy snaps.

as this is the online cactus kingdom i thought that posting pics of the garden on here before the plants end up all over the country is a nice thing.

its very good that the botanic garden is getting the really good plants then everyone will be able to see them in the years to come, this is a great tribute to a great cactus dynasty and some awesome cactus collectors.

How much longer do you think it will be possible to visit the place? I'd love to make a trip down in my next 3 day weekend! I found his phone number and might call him after all this Xmas crazy is gone

I think Robert was saying that the guys from the botanical gardens were coming back to start work again in March.

So there's still time dood! :)

I also thought Robert mentioned the botanic gardens weren't interested in trichocereus?

A couple were tagged to take cuts of but I don't think they were taking any whole plants like some of the others.
