Philocacti Posted June 16, 2015 I've had this for over 10 years, if I remember correctly. The main tip keeps splitting. I think it's some sort of Mammillaria.
0 zelly Posted June 17, 2015 yup itsa mam, I've one just like it, & the label says M. Berardii, which doesnt appear to be a valid name. The plant is very similar in looks to M. geminispina, which is probably what it really is.
0 Philocacti Posted June 17, 2015 Thanks zelly But images on cactus art don't fit geminispina. The closest looking one is M. compressa but the flowers look different than the one I have
0 zelly Posted June 18, 2015 hey philo, heres a pic of mine labeled M. berardii and right behind it is one labeled M geminispina So yeah, it def isnt a geminispina.... Now all thats needed is for someone to edit Wiki to include M. berardii !!
