gr33ntea Posted March 31, 2014 I bought some Cereus Peruvianus monstrose seeds off ebay a while back, was told that i may have been ripped off, but i grew them anyway growing seedlings is funThe seedlings were mostly neglected, 50% of the seedlings died,After like 1 year the hardened seedlings are starting to show mutated traits. So i should have some fun grafting them and watching them grow. Dreamwalker. Posted March 31, 2014 Was there any indication advertised with the seeds......as to what kind of mutated traits you should expect....eg spirals .....melted wax........wide heads?.........just curious..................be keen to see more pic's as they develop ..................you can diffidently see some monstrose development here.................have they got some heat for the winter? gr33ntea Posted March 31, 2014 I do not remember, i checked my purchase history in ebay i couldnt find it, but i am certain they will look like the common cereus monstrose you usually see http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/2006/09/11/Xenomorf/84c88b.jpgThey have been through hell, no water for weeks in 30 degree heat, over watering, i wont be giving them heat. I just planted more seeds i had left over.

gr33ntea Posted April 6, 2014 I think i may have possible albinos as well
hostilis Posted April 6, 2014 Some promising looking seedlings! If they were completely albino they probably wouldn't have lasted that long. Every albino I've had (and didn't graft within a month or so) died pretty fast. They look like something is up with them though. Maybe just variegated? gr33ntea Posted April 6, 2014 Yes it has definitely been more than a month, i would say almost a year. Should i let it be or graft it?The one on the left looks a bit dead already so maybe i should graft it
hostilis Posted April 6, 2014 If it's growing on it's own as is then you don't have to. I'm a graft freak though and I probably would just to ease my impatience to see what's up with it.
