Does anyone know the largest Rhipsalis cactus?

Recommended Posts

Allow me to elaborate does anyone know a Rhipsalis plant with the largest diameter. Sometime that would be easy to graft on?
I did some research i found RHIPSALIS GRANDIFLORA but that was pretty much it

I have been browsing on this http://cactiguide.com/cactus/?genus=Rhipsalis

But it hasnt exactly given me the width size of the branches

Check out http://rhipsalis.net/ and http://rhipsalis.com/. They aren't regulalry used for grafting, but I did it once with a Trichocereus and it was fine. Try to get a hold of a nice supply of Quiabentia. Check out http://quiabentia.wordpress.com/category/cactaceae/opuntioideae/quiabentia/ and http://www.cactusexpert.us/cultivation-of-cacti/quiabentia.html. I had one of these once, but it died somehow. Similar to Pereskiopsis, but quite a bit thicker.

I've heard that quiabentia grow very slow. I am thinking of getting one to try grafting with it, but somebody told me they had one 2" plant that grew 1" in a year and a 5" plant that grew 5" in a year. I guess it would just take some experimenting to find out how well they work for grafting.

Where will you get it from? I heard they are hard to find
