^^^

I nice guess

I am also suggesting some Oreocereus with less wool than say O.celcianus . Just saying, I got a couple that are not so hairy as others that are totally dense.

But Eulychnia might be spot on. Never owned one.

I'm gonna go with Oreocereus and Echinocereus, maybe E. coccineus.

hey michael

you 're saying echinocecerus coccineus for the 2nd? I doubt it.

I say that because I have it, and it's thinny and clumping cactus , from what I understand, a neglectected one would be much thinner than these ones than look like thiny spineless weak ferocacti produced in a sun-less enviroment.

check out 2 different clones

and help with ID

sorry for hijack stillamn, but I believe its kind of relative in your first ID. WHICH cannot be really absolute anywayz

one are less hairy one is much hairy

the hair is really different betweeen what I have considered different strain of Oreocereus celcianus

wahtta say

Oreocereus celcianus?

Hence my "maybe."

Stillman, throw that bad boy into a new pot with some fresh soil and in no time we should be able to give you a better idea what it is.
