Free range cacti everywhere! They look so much better coming straight out of the earth than some plastic container. Looks superb Getafix, well done :)

Btw post one of those validus areoles over the ditch so we can get some grafting and propagating underway hehe

Still find it hard to believe I found that Peru at Bunning's, have certainly never seen another like it since, one of my favourites.

Thanks EG. The Validus is a large cutting. Once it has rooted in the pot it will be planted out into the garden.

your icaro looks clearly the same (ie, Icaro genetics) but quite diff, mines alot spinier.

here's mine, I forget how old from seed. maybe5 years. this is it's second in the ground
