Auxin Posted February 13, 2003 I figured out where a whole bunch of incoming spam is comming from (I'm upto at least 15-20 per day now). I did a google search for my email address and two of the three results were my pre-upgrade SAB profile pages! (now only existing in googles archives evidently, the bastards) Thank you Torsten for making it so we can hide our email addresses now, that was the first thing I did after the upgrade- hopefully google will loose the old pages someday, But... ATTENTION EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY NEWBIES It might be a good idea to make your preferences hide your email address from others, many people have google spyware that reports any page they visit, and there are automatic spammer programs that grab all the email addresses off of google and spam them.
