Jox Posted April 26, 2013 Poor bee's , Hmm I don't know? When I came across them I got mixed emotions, having kept bees before I felt sad for them but figured they will swarm & find a new home(maybe not successfully getting closer to winter ). But also being passionate about native flora & fauna, I felt bad to know that they would be going to take up a home of what should be a native animals home & were going to eat the food source of or native bees. Anyway they were still around there falling hive a few days after it had fallen, It looked like they were filling up on honey, preparing for there move. I had to leave this job site so I will never know if they were successful or not. Cheers jox
Bigred Posted April 27, 2013 They will swarm most probably but will find it hard to survive as the winter is nearly here. Next time give me a yell and will go catch the hive.
