Question

Hi guys, this little baby I just discovered at my mums house, has a flower that looks like it should topple this little guy. Sorry about the crap pic but I was concentrating on the flower. The cactus itself is at least 2-3 years old and it very soft to touch, almost spongy, and doesn't really appear to have any spines, but looks like it wants to grow them, and as you can see the flower is gorgeous. I am after an ID is at all possible from this pic and if so, can I plant a cutting of it? Much peace and love -V
