The plant with fruit is a pilosocereus I can't help you any more than that tho the fruit is edible. Behind that is the dragon tree make sure you grab that. Apparently very valuable :-)

I also ment to say don't worry to much about the roots on those agava I usually cut most them off after I dig them up and it doesn't worry them at all. They will usually survive even if you but them all off

Thanks spacemonk, I would not have a clue how to work out what they are, I'm not even sure if they will ever flower (I hope so). I am clueless when it comes to crests & was hoping a smart person here would give me an answer, haha

Thanks for the feed back CC.

Cheers

I'm pretty certain pilosocereus fruit is edible pm Shortly to be certain. Number 1 crest is a cracker looks like maybe Echinopsis calochlora crest could also possibly be E multiplex v. oxigona or similar.

1. maybe notocactus erinaceus (Parodia sellowii ) ? 2 i have not seen anything like before, almost resembles a trich and sort of resembles pachycereus pringlei but not quite in either, im keen to see what others have to say for the both of these :)

edit: added current scientific name of the notocactus, i think their is some more confusing taxonomy going on there

Hi Jox, first one should be Echinopsis Eyriesii Cristata but the color is not normal. It needs Nitrogen. ;-)

I think the second one is the Pilosocereus Azureus Cristata though it doesnt look as bluish as mine. Apart from the color, it looks identical to mine. But it could also be another Pilosocereus Crest.

Third one could be Pilosocereus Palmerii.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I was stoked to find that second one & think its a good thing I got them out of the ground as they both have big root systems but they look like there struggling. I have potted them up in a home made potting mix & I will give them some liquid ferts next week (Thanks for the heads up EG  )

It will be interesting to see them in good health, I will post pics in a few months.

Cheers
