Yeah will certainly be repotting it shortly, can't believe they put plants in that shit!!

Doesn't look anything like my other Cuzco's,I have a few, but I definately stand to be corrected!!

Thankfully not a T. cuzcoensis. Looks like a proper sort of T. peruvianus to me.

Thanks Michael, I had hoped that may have been the case.

Will put it into the ground and let it grow.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. I have shopped at this Bunnings many times and always have a quick look at the cacti section but first time I have seen anything like this!

How much did it cost ?

I've never seen a Trich that big at my local bunnings, I did see one about 2/3 of the size but they had it inside in full shade and it was etiolated from the torture. I think they had $60 on the one I saw.

Yeah it is super fat, can't join 2 hands around it. I paid $59.00 for it. Not cheap but I was reasonably sure it was a beautiful Peru and for the size of it thought worth paying $60 for it.

That's a nice find for Bunnings. The only Trichos they have at my local Bunnings are small seedlings. I sometimes check in at Hamiltons (where a lot of Bunnings stock comes from) and I've only ever found a nice mature one like that once.
