psycho0 Posted November 13, 2002 are there any herbs or supplements which help to enhance visualization abilities? thanx
Auxin Posted November 13, 2002 Thats mostly mental discipline, but I guess anything that helps clear up the mind would help. Take ginkgo daily for over a month and it might make it easier.
spiraleyes Posted November 14, 2002 the problem here lies in the linguistics. trying to see something in that blank space is very hard, almost impossible. instead try 'feeling' what it is you want to visulize.the vision will follow. im sure there are many plants that can help regular practise and TOTAL relaxation is the key. the best way ive found to relax completly,is take a few deep breaths and tense every muscle you can, hold, then slowly release. do it a few times. nabraxas Posted November 15, 2002 was told by a monk from the nyingmapa(sp?)order ov tibetan buddhism- who sort ov concentrate on older Bonpo related practices, including much visualisation meditation, that in old texts it was often advised to drink half to 1 skull cap (if you've seen those tibetan skull cap/cup/bowl things you'll know they're pretty big- skull size) full ov wine before meditating.
