delshanon Posted July 3, 2012 I've been reading how effing good the Shiiake 75 strain is and to my surprise its VERY expensive. http://www.alohamedicinals.com/cultures.htm Has anyone had any experience with this strain? If this thing is hard to come by in Australia how hard do you think it would be to get like a thing happening where people who are interested on this forum pitch in money. One volunteer then grows out some dishs and sends all the contributors a wedge? Sounds good on paper. I'm probably too idealistic for my own good!
altenate Posted July 3, 2012 Yeah mate it is good. Pretty sure I have a slant or 2 floating around. Shall check when I get home. I put it onto some dowels a few months back into liquid amber logs & had quite a few fruits...
occidentalis Posted July 3, 2012 I'm keen for one if they are available too.
NSF Posted July 6, 2012 It fruits pretty well, I had it cranking out the fruit on 30+ degree days. I'll see what plates I have floating about and I'll be in touch. I might have to prep some more plates, so it might be a little while.
