Pachypodium and Adeniums etc

It can't always be cacti.

Some of my collection, mostly young specimens because I am a cheapskate and can't bring myself to pay the price of more mature plants. lol

some smaller ones growing out apparently all different colours the one in the middle is supposed to be a bonsai type unsure if its obesum or other species, its a bit foggy in the green house lol.

Anyway myself and incognito were talking about the possibility of grafting these plants apparently thats how its done alot overseas

Anyway my collection is only very young would be keen to see some of the more established plants in the community.

Hi stillman

aren't pachypodium awsome once i get my large cacti in the ground Im putting them all through my garden

i have a bunch of different very cool mature ones if your interested in a trade for cacti

Your adenium look super healthy they flower and seed like crazy you won't know what to do with them all in a few years

Hey if any of you guys have or know of a pachypodium namaquanum for sale i've always wanted one as when full grown i think they look very much like a triffid

I'll keep my eyes out for you. Cactuscarl have you ever got seed pods from the pachypodiums, apparently they are self fertile?

I have noticed a few but they flower every year and iv only seen one here and there so i don't think they do it very often without a bit of help

I picked up a P.lamerie last week.

It is approx 50cm and I got it for $20. I don't really know what their value is.

He said he sells them cheap because he propagates them himself.

good price I reckon, from the real nurserymen 20 or so for anything 50cm is about right, from what I have seen, but you go to a chain nursery and you can double or triple it.

Just got alot of Adenium seed will probably be able to trade some seedlings in the Summer if anyone is keen.

These guys have an amazing range of adeniums..Based in Thailand. They export and can provide pytosanitary certs as well..

Have a had a few albino adenium seedlings and have managed to graft quite a few to strong root stock, should be an interesting project for next season.
